Celebrating Pride
It was pride day in Nottinghamshire and we loved these photos of someone that we support who had a wonderful time at the festival.
It was a great day which was full of lots of different entertainments and activities happening.

Peak Wildlife Park Visit
There is nothing quite like a visit to the The Peak Wildlife Park – it is a wonderful experience where you are up close to lots of different animals which was enjoyed on a day out with someone we support and their team.
Even though the day was a little dull everyone had a wonderful time spotting the animals and walking the park
Mobile Shower Service
We are starting to offer a mobile shower service that uses a portable system to bring the shower to your home.
The system is personal hygiene at its most portable. The fully contained mobile showering unit and easy drain waterproof bed sheet, allow clean, efficient, comfortable showering.
if anyone would like to avail of this, please get in contact with the clinical team or your locality manager and we can make arrangements to support

Huge Birthday Wishes from us all!!
It was celebrations galore last weekend with lots of people having to dodge numerous nerf foam darts and water guns which from looking at that amazing smile was lots of fun!

Who doesn’t love some arts and crafts when you can’t get out and about when the weather is bad!

Don’t we all love getting out and hitting the shops when we can… it was a great trip for one of the people we support who also brought her new dog on the trip too who looks very cosy all wrapped up!
Football Season is here!
Its football season and someone we support who is a huge Liverpool FC fan has now got his match season all sorted ready to go
Time for tea
We loved these photos from the sensory area of Bluebell hospice and it looks like this was being enjoyed by all the team who got to visit recently.
It was a lovely time, with lots of different people attending and a great opportunity to engage and be social
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Sunflowers - and the winner is...
Huge congratulations on the winner of our recent Sunflower competition! In the end the sunflower measured an amazing 6ft 9 inches!! Incredible.
Flu Jabs
It is that time of year so you may have already heard about the Flu Jab, it is recommended by the NHS that if you are:
- are aged 65 or over
- have certain long-term health conditions are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- Frontline health and social care workers can also get a flu vaccine through their employer.
It’s offered on the NHS every year in autumn or early winter.

Committee Meeting
Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to our recent committee meeting. It was great to hear from people about all aspects of the business and how we can continue to strive to be one of the best complex care providers. We loved peoples openness and honesty, all of which help to impact genuine change. We are still working on items that were raised but in the next newsletter we will be able to tell you the changes that have been created from the meeting.

Alice interviewed me for the nurse position available & called me the following day to say it was successful. Alice was so kind and friendly from the moment we met, and I feel she is very approachable. I can’t wait to join the rest of the team!!
Jonathan W is very dependable and helps the company a lot.

Alice is the most hard working individual I have ever met. There are countless times Alice has gone above and beyond, she is not only a exceptional person she is also the biggest team player and always innovates.
