June 2024 Newsletter

We were so impressed by the entries that we have received for the painting competition to highlight World Environment Day.
From people using recycled items of plastic to saving toilet roll tubes to use to make interesting paint effects on their entries.
Thank you again to everyone who created such beautiful pieces of art.
It was a hard decision but here is the winner, I am not sure if the photo captures just how amazing this canvas was.

Sunflower Update

We are delighted to see that people are planting their sunflower seeds and that they are growing.
We have high hopes for the tallest sunflower.
Time to bowl!

One of the people we support really wanted to go bowling, which we organised this week.
It was a great afternoon and the person was thrilled to achieve this!
Congratulations... again!

We love nothing more than being able to reward the amazing people we have working for us.
Here is Jayden who won last months employee of the month with her £50 Amazon voucher.
Stay hydrated

We are now into the summer season, so we wanted to just add a little reminder for everyone to stay hydrated!
Adults should aim for 1.5-2 litres (8-10 glasses) of fluid daily.
Children need slightly less, and athletes or pregnant/breastfeeding individuals have specific needs.
If you feel you need any advice or support with hydration, please don’t hesitate to contact the office, or a locality manager, for some advice.
Fundraising for Ashgate Hospice

We wanted to highlight the charity work that someone we support is currently doing to support Ashgate Hospice
These beautifully coloured pieces of artwork are created, frame and sold with all monies being donated. These artworks are such beautiful works of art and we are looking forward to ordering one for the office.
