Sabrina
Business Development Manager
Sabrina has been employed at Joshs Care Company as a Business Development Manager, she brings with her a positive and inclusive approach. Sabrina is passionate about community involvement and engagement being accessible for all and has a creative approach to event planning and fundraising. She has built a strong reputation for producing positive results, organic growth, and problem solving using her strong ability to communicate and make connections.
End of Life Training
As it was World Doula Week from 22nd – 28th March, we invited 2 Doulas from Fin Exploring Endings to come and deliver some End of Life training with some of our teams. The day was extremely informative and has given the team lots to think about and explore with the people that we support.
Celebrating our team who are continuously going above and beyond.
We were delighted to see one of the people that we support join us with their whole team at a training session with Pippa. This provides the training with an opportunity to be personalised and ensure that as a team they have the best approach for the person they are supporting. Well done everyone!
Virtual Dog Show

Employee Of The Month

Wellness Walks
Sunday 25th Feb we headed out for a walk up Mam Tor – It was a wonderful and challenging walk but there was a lovely cafe at the top where we got a lovely coffee to warm us up. These walks are open to anyone that would like to join us, some of the walks that we have are accessible. Bingo
Who doesn’t love a little bit of bingo!
We are heading to Mecca Bingo, Foljambe Road, Chesterfield S40 1NJ on 7th March at 2pm.

Painting Competition
COMING UP (entries in by 30/05/24) We are looking for people to create and paint a canvas using anything they like, can be paints, fabrics, materials, recyclables anything that you would like to use but it needs to be inspired by THE ENVIRONMENT. We will then display all the entries at our July Coffee Afternoon as a little Gallery for anyone who would like to see

Sharon D: Sharon’s always there to support me and other support workers that are on the package. She’s been amazing since I started.
Pippa D: Funny, Warm, Caring and shows dedication and hardworking, Understanding, Supportive and Helpful.
Theresa H: Theresa is a fantastic Team Leader, always goes above and beyond. Always has the best interests for the service user and other members of staff. Very approachable.
John Mc: I have nominated John as he always goes the extra mile. He is always happy, is very caring, nothing is too much trouble and he makes amazing Fortisip Smoothies and Quiches for his Service User
Kate G: For being dedicated and so helpful!
Lauri S: She has brought light to the company and developed a great team!
Keri H: Always happy and good at her job.
Stacey C: She’s just a lovely girl both me and Preston adore her.
Spencer H: Do anything for us both – Anything! We love him loads.
Erica S: I would like to nominate her because she’s gone above and beyond, shown me the ropes and picked up all extra shifts to support the package.
Sibohan G: Siobhan is a great role model to learn from. She always has a great attitude and has helped me massively in learning routines and building a relationship.
Lisa D: Her caring nature to the clients and the company.
Lindsay W: She helps and supports everyone and is always there. If there are any issues, she goes above and beyond her role and I think she is an inspiration and amazing at what she does. She always puts the service users first and is always there if you need to rant.
Amy H & Josh R: I am new to a package and Amy and Josh have been so welcoming to me and have made me feel part of a team. Nothing has been too hard for them when I’ve been unsure. They have been supportive and amazing. Amy has checked in with me on several occasions when she’s not even been working with me and just made me feel really confortable, confident. I really feel that they have gone above and beyond to make me feel part of that team. Every time I am on shift with either of these two, I am so confident – they put me at ease. Thank you!
Bryn W: The way Bryn has taken to instruction and learning o nthe package is excellent, and the way he reacts with the person he supports is second to none. He always makes the person smile and laugh and his knowledge now about everything to do is so good.
He’s a massive asset to the package, personally I think he deserves some recognition which would give him such a boost, and that in itself would not only benefit him but also the person he supports as well!
